It is amazing how full of fascists this comment section is - The guys have no idea who the author is, and still trashing the same old stuff Germans were trashing in the 1930s, which Hitler and Mussolini were both the defenders of working class against the jew socialist middle class. To defeat fascism we all need to become socialists. National-socialists. Right.
Fascism is about stamping out the ones who think different, about thought unification first and foremost. To defeat it we need to allow for a plethora of opinions to exist, yes, even the ones you don’t like or disagree with.
Shaming people into silence on tweeter is fascism. Shutting down opposition simply because you are afraid of a political loss is fascism. If we all go right, and shut down anyone on the left - we become fascist. If we all go left and shut down any right opinions - we also become fascist.
To defeat fascism we need to stop being scared of having a plethora of opinions, acknowledge facts and have discussions about them, instead if shouting matches that cause people their careers because of a few words.
If I don’t like Trump, I’m not a liberal commie, I’m just a man with an opinion. If I do like Trump (or at least dare to say he did a good job in some areas), I’m not a white supremacist and a nazi, I’m just a man with an opinion.
Fascism makes the world black and white, we need to strive towards a multicoloured world instead.

You start by making that absurd statement, then try to equate a private company banning someone from one, of many, social media platforms with a political party or government murdering its opponents. As Trump’s mob attempted to do on Jan 6.
“Conservatives” empowered all these big media and tech companies to be unanswerable to anyone. Now they complain about them.
If you like Trump, you may not be a fascist. He isn’t really a fascist, he has no ideology, only a lust for power. But he enables fascists, like e.g. Stephen Miller and any number of violent brownshirt-like unashamed racist and fascist groups who literally march with his flag. Then beat people with them.
But if you still “like Trump” after his attempt to overturn an election with lies, threats and ultimately violence, you are supporting fascism.
