There’s the problem right there in the title: they think of it as “our” election. And big city folk who don’t look exactly like them can’t have a piece of it, much less their actual majority share.

‘Mollie Hemingway’ (on book covers) vs. ‘Mollie Ziegler Hemingway’ (Wikipedia) — I assume the ‘Ziegler’ part is of some significance to the poster? — it’s not mentioned on book covers anywhere (hard cover, audiobook, ebook), so factually it’s not correct.

I am not really political. Always too busy working and during Obama’s presidency it was bliss since I was so focused on business that I never paid attention to the news. What stuck me as so surreal was the Biden inauguration it truly seemed like a dystopian future come true straight out of the pages of the Twilight Zone with the previous presidents in attendance, as if they were zombies, or victims of an unknown alien body snatcher seemingly attempting to lend credibility to the entire corrupt insane political process I observed on the peripheries of my life.
The United States is going to collapse, and western society, it’s only a matter of time, and a matter of how badly it collapses. I honestly don’t care either way as long as humanity survives and the practical people are in charge, not the ego-driven psychopaths that are currently able to rule the planet….. badly

Considering this book has a core message that presents the well debunked conspiracy theory that Trump won the 2020 election as fact I believe this can be firmly considered fiction and/or satire.
The story presented is based on hearsay and there is no firm data provided for many of the over the top claims. So those looking for a smoking bullet to confirm their biases will find plenty more misinformation to absorb.
Do yourself a favor and pick up a proper analysis of the election and not just another Trump fan fiction.

How long can 40+ percent of the American population go on being so gullible? Sure, their entire electoral system has deep problems, the Democrats are hardly beacons of good government, and people are pissed at all the inequalities and social problems, but why on earth would any believe anything that Trump and his obvious gang of grifters say or do? In the US 5 presidents (all R) have won the electoral college while losing the popular vote. But they’ve been within a few percent.
In the UK 40% of the popular vote gets you an 80 seat majority (about 60%) in parliament.

@alnilam: in the “about the author” at the end of this book her full name “Mollie Ziegler Hemingway” is used. Ziegler was her maiden name. So no disinformation there, unlike the rest of the book.
