Alan I. Abramowitz has emerged as a leading spokesman for the view that our current political divide is not confined to a small group of elites and activists but a key feature of the American social and cultural landscape. The polarization of the political and media elites, he argues, arose and persists because it accurately reflects the state of American society. This statistically based analysis shows that racial anxiety is by far a better predictor of support for Donald Trump than any other factor, including economic discontent.

The error of the author’s fundamental assumption is proven by the recent significant rise in Trump’s approval rating among blacks and hispanics.
Contrary to racists like the author, race is not the dividing line but cultic propagandizing seeking to make people falsely believe in racism as a problem.
With the inbreaking of alternative information among those enslaved by lies asserting a pseudo-problem of “systemic racism,” we see mentally enslaved blacks and hispanics bursting the bonds of the lie and embracing liberty in union with those they had been told were “racists” when they are not.
