  So you read the entire book before concluding it ‘is exactly what is happening in the USA”.

  Like you I have not listened to this book, but I am familiar with the topic from reading other books and listening to various professors lectures & interviews.

  If you lived 1 week back then & then you were transported through time arriving today, you would spend the first 10 minutes back kissing the ground and supremely thankful that today in America is nothing like living and dying 30 million) in the middle of the Chinese Cultural revolution. 30 million dead and you are saying life in America is ‘exactly’ like that? No. There are some simalarities inthat angry spoiled dumb university students are being used is a power struggle that’s not intended to benefit the kids. The woke smell like Mao’s Red Gaurd, only it;s almost all done in cyberspace and there’s not 30 million murdered or starved people and kids are not beating their grandparents near to death. Do you understand 30 million dead vs zero dead? I’ll concede that the woke have probably driven a handful of folks to kill themselves because they witch-hunted someone who made a small error that at most requires a public apology, not a ruined career and status. Still apples & oranges. You’d be hard pressed to find 1 obese Chinese student because many were half starving. If America gets to even a fraction of the turmoil of the Chinese cultural revolution, you will know it and get no arguments. The S will hit, but it won’t be the same.
