They said the same thing about Bush the Second, calling any criticism of him and his policies as “Bush Derangement Syndrome.” Bush II was above reproach, and anyone questioning his mental acumen, wars, and actions was dismissed as just being irrational.
Funny how I can’t find anyone willing to admit they voted for him nowadays. It’s something to think about if you believe the same thing about Trump.

I didn’t vote for Trump. I also didn’t cry for two days after finding out he won. I believe he is doing a fine job and WILL vote for him in 2020. Thank go Hillary didn’t win.

I will admit voting for Trump. I looked at the candidates and could not conceive Clinton as President. Hell, I am still ashamed of voting for her husband - one of my worst votes and based on not doing my own homework.
I will vote for Trump again - not because I particularly like him, but because I believe that considering the absolute pitiful crap being thrown at him, he is doing a solid job.
I am not voting for a saint, I am voting for someone that gets the job done and to be brutally honest except for Tulsi Gabbard it is difficult to find a competent Democrat anywhere.

I think it’s due to Presidents often making policies by executive order, and thus those policies are easily reversed. Prior to Bush Jr. E.O.’s weren’t so common. But Obama’s DACA was a huge policy by only E.O.
The failure if Congress to legislate is the big issue.

Basileus5—You call Hillary Clinton repugnant. Well, perhaps that might be due to 30 years of slanderous propaganda on the right attacking her incessantly and viciously. All untrue. I didn’t care for her all that much myself, but respect her greatly except for her corporatist tendencies. She would have made a fine,if boring, president, free from all but manufactured scandal.
If Jesus had been subject to the same treatment, the title of this book might be something like ‘Jesus the Con Artist: How He Deluded America and Why He Ultimately Failed’. If you yourself were important enough to be in the right wing’s sights, a book about you might be ‘Basileus the False Would-be King of America and How Patriots Stopped Him’. Nothing against you, of course, but simply imagine being in that situation. You’d be lucky to escape stoning.
Who knows what ill they can accomplish against just anyone they disagree with, with Fox News and right wing talk radio the only media so many people are willing to trust.
This is not a book I plan listening to, but I have great certainty it is deceitful (that is, a farrago of mischief and lies) and harmful to America. So minimum stars.

I absolutely agree that hatred can be demonic. But, I also know the level of disgust that many in this country feel concerning our current president, his attitude, his actions, his words, comes from a thorough reading and understanding of what the Bible teaches us a man is supposed to be. The qualities that would be exemplified by anyone who claims to have an understanding of the example left to us by Christ are vastly at odds with the overwhelming recorded evidence that we have in regards to our current leader. As a Christian I absolutely believe that it is my DUTY to pray for all of our current elected representatives just as I have for those in the past whether I agreed with them or not but, as a Christian, I am also appalled and deeply saddened by many of those same leaders including president Trump. I would put forth that maybe we need to understand the reasons so many people “hate” this president and not write them off as simply being under demonic control.
