America is not a Democracy, it’s a Constitutional Republic & the investigation was a farce from day one, Mueller even admitted it early on, if there was something to find on Donald Trump it would have been found & used.

100 percent agree BigFinishFan. Donald Trump is the most vetted President America has ever had. If there was an issue it would have been found. How Mueller will explain why he waited until after the midterms to announce Donald Trump’s innocence will be hard to explain where it does not appear partisan. The Mueller operation was a con job. Obama Admin and FBI started illegally spying in 2012. If justice is done many will be going to Gitmo and it will not be anyone from the Trump administration. Flynn should be pardoned. National Economic Council Chairman & Presidential advisor Gary Cohn - “Trump is a professional liar”
I’m a big fan of audiobooks but listening to this one put me to sleep.
With an audiobook you can’t skip over the blah blah and just go to the conclusion, a summarised version with just the facts and none of the legalese would be a great improvement.
Three stars because i think this book is not suited to this format and not for the content.

Hillary was seriously an awful candidate. Acting all imperial and entitled turned most people off. Her only support came from the coasts and Chicago.
The only person who could both lose to and win against Hillary was Trump. The race was hers to lose. Democrats have only shown what sore losers they are.
I am reserving judgement on this book but the one I heard on audible was very interesting. Not boring at all.

Hmm, if this book is actually written by Mueller as it says above and contains the un-redacted version of his report, then I would think Mr Mueller has several legal problems ahead of him in the near future.
If this book contains the grand jury information, then not only has he violated more than a few laws, but has exposed the Justice department to potential libel lawsuits.

BigFinishFan is dead wrong. The full and proper description of the government of the United States of America is Presidential Democratic Constitutional Republic.
Saconi claims that Trump is the most vetted president in history. That is so laughably stupid, I can barely type for laughing. He’s the only president in 50 years not to reveal his personal and business taxes before election. He is the only president ever not to have held public office of any kind prior to election. I could go on, but I’m worried Saconi can’t hold more than two arguments in their head at one time.

Mueller collected all the evidence needed to convict Trump of obstruction, at least 10 separate instances (e.g, firing Comey). But he followed the DOJ rule that he could not charge a president. He left Congress the option to impeach, but the Republicans would simply vote on party lines so that would just be a circus.

FYI, Presidential candidates only started publicizing their tax returns from the mid 1970s. Why are we holding a private citizen, as Trump was during the campaign, to different rules than our professional politicians? And why do you want to give Congress and the IRS enough power to demand from any of regular citizens like us anything they want? The government works for us, not vice versa
Personally I want to see Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s income tax reports since she took office. There must have been some lucrative stock tips and pre sale hints on land deals to make her a multimillionaire. Same for Senators like Feinstein and ex CA Senator Barbara Boxer.
As the old saying goes people go into politics to do good and end up doing very well. Let’s stop the devolution to a 3rd world country. We are better than that…

mpt423 - The law that gives the House Ways & Means chairman the absolute right to see ANY American’s taxes was passed during Warren G. Harding’s presidency almost a century ago as a result of the Teapot Dome scandal. It is “black-letter law,” meaning it has been litigated enough that it is accepted law & not challengeable in court.The policy of presidential candidates voluntarily showing their personal taxes for years before they ran & every year they were in office originated after the Ways & Means Committee used the law to force Nixon to reveal his taxes (he was a tax cheat by over $300,000 in 1973 dollars). Nixon fought the law to the Supreme Court losing in a unanimous decision. “Case F**king Closed!”
There are several crucial reasons why Trump’s personal & business taxes are critical to examine.
1. Does Trump have financial connections, both foreign & domestic, that cause him to favor policies that enrich himself?
2. Does our president have any ties to foreign governments, their surrogates, or criminals, that would give them leverage over the president that threatens national policy & national security? It’s the only believable explanation as to why Trump blindly accepts Putin’s assurances over the contradictory evidence of our 17 intelligence agencies.
3. Has the president committed bank fraud, insurance fraud, & real estate fraud by constantly manipulating the “value” he puts on his properties to keep taxes low or to secure insurance discounts & bank loans?
4. Has the president violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act by partnering with Zia Mammadov’s family in a construction project that was laundering money for the Iranian Republican Guard to bypass the sanctions and fund the Islamic Terrorist organization, Hezbollah (who blew up the U.S. Embassy & Marine Barracks in Lebanon)? The FCPA requires anybody doing any business with foreign partners to exercise “due diligence” before & during any joint dealings. The Mammadov family became billionaires on patriarch Ziya Mammadov’s $12,000/year salary by laundering Iranian terrorist money. Since Foreign Policy magazine had previously labeled the Mammadovs the “Corleones of the Caucasus” it is not believable that Trump had done due diligence.
4. Has the president been pathologically lying about his wealth & his finances throughout his life, which would be a window into his honesty or lack thereof on all other matters?
