Publisher’s Summary
Among modern philosophers, few have had a greater impact on history than Karl Marx. Now this easy-to-use introduction to the 19th-century theorist breaks down his work into definitions of his terms and concepts, including Bourgeois State, Classless Society, and Freedom of the Press. Accompanied by an insightful introductory essay that puts the included excerpts from his works in context, The Wisdom of Marx is essential listening for an understanding of the man whose work incited far-reaching social and economic change.
Marx’s philosophy hinges on his view of human nature. Along with the Hegelian dialectic, Marx inherited a disdain for the notion of an underlying invariant human nature. Sometimes Marxists express their views by contrasting “nature” with “history”. Sometimes they use the phrase “existence precedes consciousness”. The point, in either case, is that who a person is, is determined by where and when he is ― social context takes precedence over innate behavior; or, in other words, one of the main features of human nature is adaptability. Nevertheless, Marxian thought rests on the fundamental assumption that it is human nature to transform nature, and he calls this process of transformation “labour ” and the capacity to transform nature labour power.

It must be very short: “Don’t live as I lived. Don’t do what I said.”
Marxism - An undead, materialist form of Gnosticism & Christianity that appeals to pseudo-intellectuals via the snobbery of a secret understanding of the world that only they understand. Of course, those who understand should be in charge. Like all over-simplified big ideas, it has failed miserably in practice. It avoids the obvious conclusion by taking about the glorious future it will bring. It is a route to power for thugs.

“Marx’s philosophy hinges on his view of human nature…”. Ergo, you’d have to endorse his “view of human nature” in order to accept his “philosophy”.

That’s an intensely ironic title. Kudos.
Deep within the realm of speculative fiction. Through the looking glass territory, peeps.

Of course, no one toxic ideologue can do all the genocide & politicide by himself. There has to be a vast network of enthusiastically willing murderers. That’s what the 20th century was all about. Karl provided the blueprint for “concentrated terror” as he, somewhat orgasmically, referred to it.

I’m extrinsic to Joe’s empire - and Frump’s rebel alliance. Europe is the outer rim.
In any event, aren’t you presenting one of those distracting false dichotomies, so rare in the internet ether?

This must be satirical to use “wisdom” and “Karl Marx” in the title. Hilarious.

thedailysignal, a racist right wing conspiracy site around for the purpose of spreading election lies and other right wing conspiracies about CRT and other made up issues. Always the best source. The article is absurd and so factual inaccurate its laughable. Marx created communism? hahahaha. He was disgusted by people who called them self Marxist or claimed to his his name in their own ideology. He by his own words, was not a Marxist. Nor did he support communism, and only wrote the manifesto as a paid writing job in a week. Not because it was his beliefs or ideas. He actually advocated that communist be put down with the greatest of force, AFTER he wrote the manifesto. Seriously folks, try learning something. You can just as easily blame Nietzche, Hegel, and countless other people for crimes done by people who liked their writings, and you would be equally absurd. If you want to blame anyone, then Jesus killed more people then anyone in history. Uneducated sheeple on here, even the great Caesar apparently.
