The optics, to the American people, is obvious. Get Trump at all costs, truth, or rules of Law be dammed.
Read parts of this book, and the intent is very transparent. Fortunate that I didn’t spend my money and buy this book.

@illusional - That’s about the size of it. The process is also a double-edged weapon because, aside from energising the base/supporters of both parties, the entire story, for the duration of the procedure, will be about Trump & not the opposing candidate, thereby sucking all the oxygen out of their campaign. Essentially what happened before. This is why Pelosi, being the wise old bird that she is, was reluctant to initiate the process. It also seems to be impossible to damage Trump, which is the reason that he is a very difficult adversary. However, Pelosi had to yield to the Young Turks & tyros.

I’ve not read this yet, but I am tempted after reading past the front cover. As it states. It’s not making trump out to be a whistle-blower. But rather speaking of whistleblowers during trumps time. This may be an interesting read. But its pretty sad if we are at a point where nobody will read a book simply because it mentions trump.. That old saying.. Don’t judge a book by its cover..
