Thank you! (I also wish someone would record and upload Asad Haider’s terrific little book, ‘Mistaken Identity: Race and Class in the Age of Trump.’ Though if anyone is interested, it is frequently available at big discounts direct from Verso if you get on Verso’s mailing list. Haider analyzes how race and class work together with a caste-like effect in the U.S. Contrary to Coates, et al, it is not just black bodies. Simple anti-black racism exists for sure, but the caste effect comes from the intersection of race and class in America. )
