64% of Americans believe cancel culture is a threat to their freedom.
This book will help you realize the seriousness of the battle before us and illuminate the present circumstance for the purpose of doing good-to bring hope. It will document what is happening in our country, how believers can respond, and why we can look expectantly to the future. This is the time for neither religious fatalism nor political inaction. No matter how bad things get in the culture or in government, the Bible is true and God has plans and purposes we don’t understand-and in the end we win.
Things are chaotic in America. Liberal policies are advancing. A rash of executive orders appears to be moving the nation closer to socialism and a one-world government. And conservatives, including many Christians, are being censored as never before. There’s even a term-cancel culture-which 64 percent of Americans believe poses a threat to their freedom, according to a Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll. (Among Republicans, that figure is even higher at 80 percent.) The term applies to all conservatives who oppose the politically correct crowd, but it’s part of a bigger effort to cancel Christianity and those who espouse biblical principles. It almost seems this is the beginning of the end and the Antichrist will appear at any time. You pick the cultural or political issue, and there likely is not even the semblance of widespread agreement. It seems that Christians are in an unprecedented season of fragmentation, potential division, and actual separation on many fronts. Instead of going forward, much of the church seems to be moving backward or standing still, waiting for what’s next.
The body of Christ is a big, diverse family, and we must choose to cheer one another on rather than get into circular firing squads. We are called to advance on every front. This book will assess and affirm the different approaches playing out. The body needs clarity and unity- and has little of both right now. Wounded armies want hope, focus, and encouragement. This book will not throw anyone overboard who is standing for the truth in some positive way. Rather, it will allow readers to look critically at the various approaches vying for our allegiance and attention here in the middle of 2021.
In the course of this survey, we will find reason to affirm where people are fighting on the battlefield and validate the perspectives they bring. Featuring interviews with a cross section of leaders, this book will document what is happening in our country, how believers can respond, and why we can look to the future with hope. Even though things are bad, we must understand that conditions have been this bad or worse in the past and God always came through. He has plans and purposes we don’t understand. Christians must not lose heart. We must stand strong and not be intimidated. We must pray, and we must believe God for a great awakening. No matter how bad things get in the culture or in government, the Bible is true and “all things work together for good to those who love God” (Rom. 8:28, MEV). That’s because we are called according to His purpose. A purpose never goes in reverse. This book will reveal what that looks like in its various forms in the day in which we live. It gives a great handle for promoting unity and appreciation of one another when that is breaking down so badly elsewhere. Indeed, maybe the love Jesus spoke about that makes us recognizable to the world will be seen as this book illuminates the supernatural unity among people of very diverse opinions and approaches while pointedly addressing these various hot-button areas.

Usually I thank the uploader, but in this case everyone is stupider for your contribution

“Cancel Culture” is straw man argument and just a phony way racists pretend they’re the victims of their own hatred. Regular people recognize the same concept as “consequences of their own actions”.

It must be interesting to live in a mental world where any of the statements made in the summary seem true. Terrifying, like trying to perform heart surgery on a loved one while stuck in an abstract cubist painting, but interesting too.

Thank you!

@erouting - I think I’ve taken that very same drug! But the anesthesiologist was an impressionist (he did a very good Jack Nicholson).

Religion has already lost. Fighting a war denying the existence of gay people (who are actually real) believing in a God (who is actually NOT real) was a fight religion was always certain to lose.
Just give it up, reli-freaks. Your time has passed.

Extremely funny book considering Christianity’s historical attitude towards non-Christians, or even other Christians for that matter. Truly they would be the ones to know about ‘cancelling’ others.

Seems the comments here prove the point of the book.

@Faiscar. It seems you religious types think you know what god wants. As far as I’m concerned, you and your god can dry up and blow away.

mklangelo - you don’t know me, you presumptuous ass. Take your opinion, along with your asshole, which everyone else has also, and stick it in your ear.

@caesar - Indeed? That’s an enviable experience. Though perhaps not the externalities that led to you being there. Since you are still typing I hope it went well.
The closest I’ve come grows on cow droppings, rather than in gas cylinders. It has never quite approximated the extremes of rage, fear and hallucination that is so prevalent among modern demagogues. Which is saying something, since I once had a long conversation with the embodiment of decay, who politely suggested I not die that day. Nicest hive mind I’ve ever met. Very green, but a true gentlebeing.

Need more books like this and less liberal propaganda.
All the anti religion people here are a cancer in our country and we need a cure soon or there is not going to be a country worth saving!

@tokyoghost Agreed, every download that the morally righteous right steal from the author by downloading this audiobook is one less dollar that goes toward them and their kind. Post more of these books, Seed!

I thought ‘god wills it’ & thus your services are not needed?
What, your god lacks the power to end cancel culture by himself?
Sounds like a limp wristed, weak-assed god to me.
God of bed wetting hysterical adult cry babies.
God of looooooooozers.
No wonder y’all lost the war & ran home with your tails between your legs in both Vietnam & Afghanistan.
An almighty god would NEVER let that happen.
News flash - God abandon the USA because Almost all Americans worship Mammon. Ye are degenerates beyond compare.
No matter how many times American ‘Christians’ reinterpret the bible to suit their current political needs, it won’t work.
If your supernatural fairy tale is true then The lord knows your every thought & never ending scheming & hijacking of the bible.
I don’t believe because stories in books are not evidence of anything except mass gullibility.
Your god is a wimp. I could beat his puny ass on my worst day. Bring dat bitch on mofos

“Need more books like this and less Liberal propaganda.”
Interesting. In Canada, we’re dealing with the discovery of thousands of graves of indigenous children…
All because the government and, more directly, the church, couldn’t stand the fact that some people had their own language and system of beliefs that were different from the One! True! Christian! belief.
So they were beaten, starved, tortured, raped, and murdered, then buried with no marker.
Talk to me again how Christians need to fight cancel culture. Go ahead. I’ll wait.

I guess, your point here is that that gives the adherents of cancel culture the formal reason to try and replace Christianity with One! True! Progressive! belief, right?
When properly investigated and proven, as regrettable and plain unacceptable as this past tragedy might be, still one would be wise to remember the numbers: about two thousand of innocent victims in this particular case, a crime likely perpetrated by a group of evil individuals at odds with Christianity’s beliefs, while pretending to be Christians — against hundreds of millions of innocent victims, perpetrated by adherents of marxism/socialism/nazism, those ideological parents and comrades in arms of the cancel culture.
For all Christianity’s faults, real and imaginary, still it’s based on moral absolutism — when both marxism/socialism/nazism and cancel culture are based on ever shifting sands of moral relativism — hence the enormous discrepancy in the above victims numbers.
October 4th, 2021
@erouting - Ah, but am I really typing this, and are you actually reading it? It might merely be more cowpat commentary.
I’ve always found the the embodiment of decay to be a laugh-a-minute character. An entity which seems to have an exponentially increasing presence on the wub.

You run a business, and word gets out that one of your employees is an ANTIFA/BLM supporter who advocates violent action. People don’t want to use your business because of that, and you’re losing money and customers as a result.
Do you fire him? If so, congrats! You’re part of the cancel culture.
How are you going to say Christianity is a source of moral absolution ‘unlike nazism’, when some major Christian sects were openly supporting the nazis?
October 4th, 2021
That’s an interesting one. When we critique the actions of 20th c agents, incl church agents, are we not actually using the Judeo-Christian ethical framework, and New Testament standard of justice? Prior to & outside of such a framework, the actions & results of power politics were & are the operation of mere material events.
October 4th, 2021
> You run a business, and word gets out that one of your employees is an ANTIFA/BLM supporter who advocates violent action. People don’t want to use your business because of that, and you’re losing money and customers as a result. Do you fire him? If so, congrats! You’re part of the cancel culture.
Not true. In such case I would only be a businessman, caring about my business, employees and customers, and hardly anything else. And I would call anyone pretending that my action is somehow “part of the cancel culture” a liar.
> How are you going to say Christianity is a source of moral absolution ‘unlike nazism’, when some major Christian sects were openly supporting the nazis?
The key word here is “some” — meaning pretty much the same, as in case with those Canadian pseudo-Christian murderers — i.e. those sects represented exceptions from the rule, and not the rule itself.
October 4th, 2021
@alnilam How do you lack enough awareness to reach that conclusion and still believe that cancel culture is a serious issue? Ridiculous little man.
And try that again without the ‘no true scotsman’ fallacy.
October 4th, 2021
@caesar963 judeo-christians don’t have a monopoly on morality. Fairly sure Buddhists might raise an eyebrow at children being genocided too.
October 4th, 2021
Buddhists? The Buddhist majority in Myanmar has been carrying out a genocidal campaign against Rohingya Muslims, in addition to persecuting other minorities. This, of course, includes enormous numbers of children.
You’ll find departures from standards everywhere. However, our critique of actions is the issue. And, predominantly in the West, the Judeo-Christian ethical framework has been the cultural standard & source. The Romans weren’t concerned with “speaking truth to power.”
October 5th, 2021
Ah, yes Caesar. But, those aren’t true Buddhists, you see.
Because “true Buddhists” would never “dash their babies heads against the rocks and drive them out of the Promised Land.”
But, there I go again, applying a New Testiment ethical framework to judge the commands & actions of an Old Testament deity & his followers (respectively), as an analogy for “true” Buddhist morality.
Adding, also, a sprinkling of the ‘no true scotsman’ fallacy & whatever grows on cow pie droppings (for flavor), stir in a poem about “a long conversation with the embodiment of decay / who politely suggested I not die that day,” recited by Jack Nicholson or a good impressionist, and PRESTO - a recipe for being canceled (if anyone is still reading).
Or is this “cowpat commentary” that I am not typing (and no one is reading.)
I need a real job: one where I can fire a ANTIFA/BLM employee (without canceling him). If I can just crawl out of this rabbit hole. (Got anymore of that stuff in gas cylinders.) Or, am I just “proving the point of the book”?
Five stars for download speed, packaging, and the “as advertised” product, though.
October 5th, 2021
“All the anti religion people here are a cancer in our country and we need a cure soon or there is not going to be a country worth saving!”
Cancel culture is evil. Also, people who disagree with my religious views are cancer that needs to be excised.
October 5th, 2021
@caesar963
> The Buddhist majority in Myanmar has been carrying out a genocidal campaign against Rohingya Muslims, in addition to persecuting other minorities
They say “don’t judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes”. Surely you can discern the difference between “Buddhists are carrying out a genocidal campaign” and “media says that Buddhists are carrying out a genocidal campaign”, even in light of natural human sympathy for the underdog, inclination to adopt the emotional perspective of powerless being offended by powerful etc.
October 5th, 2021
@mooose - Nice one, mooose, luv yer stuff. And I always read till the bitter end. You take me backsy to my misspent psychedelics.
October 5th, 2021
@alnilam - Yeah, it’s been going on in an organised fashion for many years now. Featuring corroborating footage from within & without, enormous numbers of refugees forced to escape the genocide - Rohingya people & others, victimising of other minorities, multiple witness testimonies of human rights violations, comprehensive reports of international agencies & human rights bodies, coverage of multiple, separate media sources, evaluations & condemnations by multiple governmental agencies & departments, etc.
It could be analogous to the genocide of the Uyghur people (& other ethnic and religious minorities in Xinjiang) by the Chinese regime - however, that project is a great deal more systematic in character.
October 5th, 2021
@caesar963
So much talks about the evil nature of Rohingya’s oppressors, so little talk about the nature of the actual Rohingya themselves. Perhaps this article may shed some light: https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2017/12/rohingya_muslims_need_protection_from_rohingya_muslims.html
October 5th, 2021
Often, the victims of genocide are framed as the real villains. Look at how the Jewish people are often depicted - even on this site - as having “had it coming” or “getting above themselves” - always blamed for wars & conflicts. My own people were dehumanised by imperialists in order to justify colonial mass murder, theft, cultural oppression, penal laws, “managed” famines, state terror, forced population removal, etc.
You’ll always find evil people making such arguments, and gullible people willing to believe them.
October 5th, 2021
> Often, the victims of genocide are framed as the real villains
I guess in all depends on the exact circumstances, i.e. sometimes the victims are framed as the real villains, and sometimes they are the real villains. In case of Rohingya, the visibly skewed activity and one-sided propaganda of the giant media machine, clearly working for one side and against another, not bothering to provide the same level of information, to hold both parties to the same standard, does not exactly inspire my confidence.
October 5th, 2021
We cross a particular line of evil barbarism when we assert that the victims of genocide are the real perpetrators, and deserve their genocide; thus expediently absolving the genocidal party. Just as I observed about the site - “they had it coming.” Often the line of argument takes two parallel paths, both contradictory, of course - the genocide didn’t really happen; and it didn’t go far enough.
October 5th, 2021
> We cross a particular line of evil barbarism when we assert that the victims of genocide are the real perpetrators, and deserve their genocide; thus expediently absolving the genocidal party.
You keep omitting the part where the influential third party puts its finger on the information and propaganda scales, thus skewing the playing field in favor of one party at the expense of another, and pretty much facilitating for many the subsequent assertions of that nature.
October 5th, 2021
Not asserted - proven; by all the agencies, governments, neighbouring countries where so many had to flee, witnesses, refugees - both Rohingya people & others - so demonising one group doesn’t work. The other minorities must be ignored as well. You have to go out of your way to block out all the evidence in favour of a human rights abusing regime, of which it has been judicially established that they have engaged in such brutally oppressive operations for decades.
Well in excess of a million Rohingya & others have had to escape to other states. Most fled to Bangladesh, resulting in the creation of the world’s largest refugee camp.
As with the denial of the genocide of almost 12 million people by the Nazis, one has to wonder at the motivation of those who try to deny genocide. What is the purpose behind the defences of such regimes, the invention of con theories & distractions from the factual record? It is, of course a sinister business.
Reasonable people tend to sympathise with the victims of genocide, rather than the regimes which planned, organised & committed actual genocide. However, we have to accept that everyone has their own style.
October 5th, 2021
I’m sure you didn’t intend it in such a frivolous manner, but we ought to avoid the use of the phrase “playing field” when referring to the commission of genocide.
Of course, when also assessing the relative experiences of different parties with regard to “expense” we must acknowledge the greater trauma of the populations which have experienced genocide.

God & how to use him as a shield in a pathetic bid to condemn others bad behaviour while excusing yours.
Christianity is the all time champion of cancel culture. In Europe, In the ME & in the US.
The US was built on Christian cancel culture. Cancelled the black man’s freedom & shoved Christianity down his throat & whipped him & her if they got caught practising any African religion.
21st century cancel culture is puny compared to that.
How many innocent European females got cancelled because they were witches?
Cancel culture makes me vomit, but American so called Christians are just as dangerous & twice as dumb.
Millions of American “Christians” have never read the bible because it hurts. American atheists are more knowledgeable about Christianity than American Christians. Fact is, American Christians iz dumb. Stupid people don’t read. Not everyone who reads is smart, but everyone who is smart reads.
Cancel culture & US Christians deserve each other.
You’re all fanatics.I’d like to see y’all duke it out at Thunderdome
October 7th, 2021
I was going to chime in with my own tiredness at being lectured to by people you claim to know what their various imaginary sky fairies want, but apnea has nailed it so much better than me.
October 7th, 2021
Hmmm, that sounds quite…fanatical. Stupid people do read, it’s just in making critical connections & comprehension they fall down on. For inst, in their reading of history. Ignorance of the role of Christianity & African American churches in the Civil Rights movement. “Scientific” racism originating amongst non-Christian, “Enlightenment” theorists. Christianity’s role in abolition. Etc. Etc.
How many innocent human beings were slaughtered by barbaric, anti-theist ideologies? What ideological atheists - American or otherwise - “know” about the Bible is a grab bag of ignorant attack slogans, sourced from prejudiced hate-sites. Confront them, and they crumble. Is your nation so perfect that you can spend all your time casting ill-informed stones at The American Satan? Why does America dominate your every waking moment? Methinks you protect too much…
October 7th, 2021
That should be “protect” - but the slip can do just as well. It’s these new dentures.
October 7th, 2021
…uh, “protest” - it’s from effing Hamlet, or something. I’ve just watched Dune, and there’s sand in my eyes.
October 8th, 2021
Nonsensical garbage.
October 16th, 2021
…because, when you’ve lost the actual debate, taking solace in your imaginary sky pixie is all you have left.
October 17th, 2021
Is this available in paperback? We may be heading for a toilet paper shortage in the UK.

The comment thread was entertaining, thank you. I’m going to go smoke my crack pillow and look at a screen of ones and zeros scrolling Matrix style while ranting about stolen elections while an AM talk radio station blares in the background.

What 64% of Americans believe resembles the facts as much as a white knight resembles a black bishop. Reality is not a popularity contest.
