I’m Canadian but live in Italy.
I’ve always been very progressive and involved in anti-racist and pro-immigrant causes…
Well, living in Europe has changed my perspective to some degree.
I still hold all the same principles but Europe is descending into a violent, soulless nightmare due to overwhelming migration by desperate masses from Africa and Asia. Many of them are criminals, such as members of regional mafias or mercenaries.

I sometimes try to guess the bias of an author merely by reading a dust jacket. My guess on this one was pre-Brexit/Trump tribalist and after listening to a bit, her agenda is worn on her sleeve.
