Yet soon thereafter, progressive academics and activists urged the courts to remake our Republican Constitution into a democratic one by ignoring key passes of its text. Eventually, the courts complied. Thanks for this! So many Americans are not properly educated. They think they live in a democracy when it is actually a constitutional republic.

@anova890 Ahhh yes, and here you are displaying your lack of education. A constitutional republic is a FORM of democracy. It’s a representative democracy. We elect our representatives. That’s literally like saying, “I don’t have a dog, I have a Beagle!”
