Thanks. It’s good to see an increasing amount of Jewish thinkers standing up against the injustices of Zionism. The attitude of “backing the ideology of my people, right or wrong” is starting to wear thin.

What parts of the book are fiction? The creation of Israel violated the UN charter, its 1967 War illegally annexed land (to this day)
Israel’s apartheid state makes it really hard for Jews outside Israel. I feel like a White South African did during apartheid

Israel’s “shift right” is a result of the Israeli left’s failure to achieve anything. They have failed economically, they have failed militarily and they have failed politically, especially in terms of achieving any sort of coexistence with the arabs. Whenever they are in charge and try, Israelis end up dead and the army needs to run yet another operation that causes an outcry. So the Israelis vote for the right, because at least the right keeps the economy going and the arabs mostly peaceful. Plenty of issues with who exactly comprises the Israeli right but in the end, it’s simply because the left is such a joke.
