Excellent. The Great Communicator

Ronnie certainly said “well” a lot. “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this well!”
The speech following the Challenger disaster was excellent. Definitely better than Donald telling devastated Hurricane Harvey survivors to “Have a great time, everybody!”

> …during his [Ronald Reagan’s] unprecedented three-term presidency.
The author of the above description is kidding, right?
“On November 5, 1940, President Franklin D. Roosevelt won a third term in office—an unprecedented act that would be barred by a constitutional amendment a decade later. Roosevelt’s decision to break the precedent set by George Washington was made in July 1940, as the United States neared its entry into World War II”.
It’s the FDR presidency that was unprecedented in that regard, and Ronald Reagan’s two term presidency was pretty standard, last time I checked (January 20, 1981 – January 20, 1989).

FDR was an admirer of Stalin. Even called him Uncle Joe. The War gave FDR his 3rd term, not his great leadership. Many thought that Peral Harbor was orchestrated to get America into the War.
“In 1944, Harry Truman was asked by his friend and Senate colleague Owen Brewster what Franklin Roosevelt was really like. Truman hadn’t gotten to know his running mate very well, but the Democratic vice-presidential nominee had spent enough time around FDR to provide a succinct answer.
“He lies,” Truman replied.”
